WICKED JOINS FORCES WITH THE TARONGA ZOO

WICKED is partnering with Taronga Zoo for WICKED Day in 2009. Given the strong themes about how humans interact and treat animals in WICKED we think the Zoo is an ideal recipient of some volunteer support.

The WICKED cast will be working at Taronga Zoo to assist with their Backyard to Bush project. A large proportion of tasks to be Bush care/management as the precinct has a range of native Australian bush environments that Australian animals roam free within.

In addition to rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty the team at WICKED Australia will also take collections in the theatre for the Taronga Zoo in the last week of October.

WICKED DAY COSTUME CONTEST

Haymarket, Sydney

For those fans wanting to celebrate WICKED Day book tickets to the matinee performance on Sunday 1 November and come dressed as your favourite WICKED character. There will be on the spot WICKED prizes for the Best Dressed prior to the commencement of the matinee. Winners will also have the opportunity to have their photo taken with the cast after the show.
